Evelop en NS Poort zullen een zogenaamd nul-emissiekantoor gaan bouwen aan de westzijde van het station. Op het dak komen onder andere windmolens!

The building will have an optimal level of insulation (through intelligent energy savings) and will be equipped with small wind turbines, solar panels and cold and heat storage (sustainable energy recovery). In addition, the building will have its own energy supply. Significant savings in regular energy costs helped finance the construction and acquisition of the installations and technologies. De windmolens zullen niet van het type zijn die we uit de polder kennen. Gezien de beperkte ruimte moet men denken verticale as-rotors. Deze hoeven niet op de wind te worden gericht.
